In this Welcome module, I’ll walk you through the course from a bird’s eye perspective.
Today is Day Zero. After reading the introduction materials, you’ll do a warming up exercise, and the script reading starts tomorrow, on Day 1.
In a minute, we’ll dig a little deeper into the main three modules and their objectives, as well as the three specific tasks you will perform to develop the three critical skills I described earlier. The tasks are:
- To copy the masters (Warmup)
- To summarise episodes (Wonder)
- To transcribe a series pilot (Workout)
You’ll notice that every module involves … writing.
Because that’s what you wanted to do, right?
